This allows a small, lightweight arch that can be considerably less obtrusive than a typical weapons detection system that you would see at an airport and other security areas.
Now with the addition of sensors to detect elevated body temperatures Passive Portal™ systems can help keep weapons and contagion outside of your house of worship and religious schools.
• The Passive Portal Detector Systems - Three Systems from which to choose:
The patented and only detection that does not produce any potentially harmful radiation; x-rays, microwaves, radio frequency waves etc. ensuring the only radiation in your house of worship will be coming from above.
The walk-through Passive Portal 2 now screens for Weapons and Elevated Body Temperature to Help keep your parishioners, students and staff free of harm.
• Custom designed for Houses of Worship
Once again, the unique technology of Passive Portals provides a relatively small single arch versus the cage like structures required for radiating weapons detectors
Additionally, we will design and recommend the right system and accessories for your house of worship or school layout including a vinyl cover close to the wood or mahogany color of your entranceway providing a less obtrusive appearance.
The monitor can be off to the side viewing each individuals’ readings on a wirelessly Bluetooth connected laptop monitor.
• Complete set up and lay out instructions customized for your facility:
Each Passive Portal comes with written instructions for setting it up with ordinary tools in about 5 minutes.
• Designed to discourage anyone from entering your facility with a weapon:
A small sign, least intimidating to your parishioners, can be provided indicating that all persons entering are being screened for weapons.
• Recommended procedures most appropriate for houses of worship in handling situations:
Detecting individuals coming in with suspicious metal objects and/or elevated body temperature in a church entryway environment can be handled in several discrete and least disruptive ways.
Procedures for handling these situations in a house of worship environment will be provided for advising and training your monitors and/or security personnel.
• Processing for Federal Funding:
We provide assistance with filling out and applying for federal grant. On January 27, 2020, H.R.2476, the Securing American Nonprofit Organizations Against Terrorism Act of 2019 was signed into law (Public Law 116–108). The bipartisan sponsored law establishes in the Department of Homeland Security a Nonprofit Security Grant Program, under which the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) shall make grants to eligible nonprofit organizations (tax-exempt organizations and those determined to be at risk of a terrorist attack) for target hardening and other security enhancements to protect against terrorist attacks. The law makes available $75 million dollars for each of the fiscal years 2020 through 2024 for 501(c)(3) religious, charitable, scientific, literary, and educational organizations and allows them to purchase physical security enhancement equipment and personnel screening systems with this grant money.
• Rapid Air Freight Delivery anywhere in the USA.
The Passive Portal is unique in that it screens for weapons without producing any radiation; x-rays and microwaves, radio frequency waves which potentially can have harmful effects
The Passive Portal™ can now be ordered with an optional elevated body temperature detector. This detector passively provides real-time elevated body temperature screening, also known as EBT, to limit the spread of contagious diseases.
You have probably seen security officers scanning the foreheads of arriving passengers at airports. These cameras can detect elevated body temperature (EBT)
This new Passive Portal with EBT model includes an infrared camera that scans the face and forehead of people coming through the Passive Portal and determine their body temperature.
Thermal cameras have a long history of being used in public spaces—such as airports, train terminals, businesses, factories, and concerts—as an effective tool to measure skin surface temperature and identify individuals with Elevated Body Temperature (EBT).
Using thermal cameras, monitors can be more discrete, efficient, and effective in identifying individuals that need further screening with virus-specific tests.
